Food is almost always not cheap at the airport. But at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) there is a canteen where everything costs quite reasonable money.
Mostly airport employees eat there, you need to pay with coupons, which you buy at the entrance. You can pass just so and price, and then buy coupons for the required amount, a multiple of 10 baht (minimum coupon).
This institution is located one floor above the exit to the trains in the city. If you are facing the airport, it is in the right end, at the very end.
Here is my modest lunch – rice with two fillings, spicy with meat and normal with vegetables. And a drink, a kind of rosehip, something outlandish, the first time I tried it. All together – 60 baht.
